Dame Maria Paula Figueiroa Rego is a famous artist.she also known as Paula Rego.Paula Rego was born in Lisbon,Portugal in 1935.Paula Rego is a Portuguese painter, illustrator and printmaker.Paula Rego lived in Portugal (Ericeira) until 1976 and later moved to London with her family.
Rego starts painting at the age of four.She attended the English-language Saint Julian's School, Carcavelos, Portugal then she studying at the Slade School of Art of London and where she met her future husband British artist Victor Willing.
Paula Rego and her husband Willing is divided their time between Portugal and England until 1976 and when they moved to England permanently.In 1988, Paula Rego's husband Willing died for suffering some years from multiple sclerosis.
